Brothers and Sisters, I am grateful to be with you today. I live in New River, I am blessed to live in a beautiful place. I also express gratitude to be a member of the deer valley ward with great members and leaders. I also thank the stake members and leaders for their kind service. Commandment of Polygamy An article by Brian C. Hales contains at least 23 accounts of an angel with a drawn sword appearing to Joseph Smith threatening to take his life if he does not institute the practice of polygamy. So an angel appeared to Joseph Smith with a sword threatening to kill him if he did not practice polygamy. The angel also quoted the Book of Mormon, saying it was sometimes permitted for polygamy to be practiced.

Book of Mormon verse 2 Nephi 29 3 And because my words shall hiss forth—many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible. Here is a prophecy from the Book of Mormon that the Lord’s words will “hiss forth” in our day and many people will say we have a Bible, so we have enough. We already have the Bible, why do we need anything more?

Intro Everyone’s faith will be tried or tested at some point during their lifetime here on earth. This was the purpose of coming to earth. Romans 3:23 tells us 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; This means that every man has sinned so if you have doubted, or are currently wrestling with doubts, just remember that this does not separate you from anyone else who has ever lived.
